Community market Temp Bann??? Really?

i go onto the community market to see a CSGO gun i would like to buy but for some reason the change of a passcode gives me bassically a 5 day bann to the market. This could be normal to people but im still decently new to steam and changing a passcode to result in a market bann is just stupid in my opinion. MAIN CONCERN is why is this a thing :/

It's to prevent hacking. If someone get's your account password and changes it, they must wait. It is a little extensive though. When you're new to steam my advice: Get the mobile authenticator, It helps, ALOT

Changing your password doesn't cause this.

Using the password recovery causes this.

I didn't recover the password I changed it though
