Does the free steam credit at the bottom of the page still work?

I heard from a friend that if you scrolled all the way to the bottom of the steam page you get a steam credit to get any game free. I even saw real footage of it. I tried it, but it didn't work. Does the credit still work or no?

Does not work, has never worked, was always fake like the video you saw. You never got a free game or steam credit by doing that. Use common sense please.

Valve is not a charity, they are a company and want to make a profit. You don't make a profit by giving away games to anyone scrolling to the bottom of a page.

Isn't the front page never ending on Steam? Or absurdly long as it keeps extending itself, eventually repeating the game highlights?
I believe that was the reason why you were tricked into doing it, so you'd spend an eternity scrolling.

You could try by holding down the [End] key, it'll just continue.
