Uninstalled a game but its still there, advice?
I finaly got round to uninstalling ESO beta, so I ran its uninstaller and it said it was uninstalled but when i check its folder in program files it still has nearly 30gb of stuff in it. What should I do, is it safe to selcet everything and just hit delete?

If u already uninstalled it and game files remain, just delete them.

Next time u want to remove something that was from Steam Client, do that from inside Steam Client > Library section > right click the item u wish to uninstall and click Delete Local Content. It should fully uninstall and remove it.

ok, will it leave any bits of rubbish in the regestry or dotted around appdata etc?

the only surpriseng thing ist that 30 gb left normally there is only the uninstaller or a small file.
it also indicates an not very good uninstaller

Having looked on the inter net you need to use the launcher to uninstall the game then control panel to remove the launcher, ive just got rid of the launcher.

So ive restored the launcher which was uninstalled and ran it to uninstall the game and it updated from beta launcher to tamriel unlimeted launcher and says i dont have the game installed so can uninstall it. I guess il just delete the ESo folder then

Ok yea just manually delete the ESO Beta game folder then.

In the future, always uninstall/remove a "Beta" or "Demo" before installing the full/final release version; as having both can sometimes cause problems.

Dont have both, havent instaled the new ESO (dont want it), just have the new ESo launcher because it updated itself. Only have beta game installed, so ill delete that. Will Disk cleanup get rid of any unwanted stuff?

Just delete it and then empty the recycle bin; done.

steam does a sad job at cleaning up after itself
it deletes all files it downloads to when the game is installed
and saves all game settings and saves ect..
