Does anyone know how to find previously deleted friends?
I had a falling out with a friend a while back. I want to say I'm sorry but he changed his name and now I can't find him. Can someone help me?

I didn't give him a nickname, I only did that for friends who changed their name a lot and he always kept his name. I also know he had an old account but he hans't used it in years.
As for the screenshots... no luck. But I haven't given up yet!

There's a problem with that. You see, I haven't played with this particular friend since last summer.

Did you have any mutual friends?

Not that I know of, but I haven't run into a dead end yet. I know his old account had some friends and I could try asking them if they know his new one.

Also, I know that what you've suggested hasn't worked thus far but thanks for taking the time to help. :steamhappy:

Well, Not sure this helps, but his username used to be Wardog360. I searched it up and the only thing that was recognizable was his old account (it has a white cupe as the profile pic) the last time I saw his old account, he had a warframe profile pic.

You can try googling "Steam Community <username>" and you may find old posts.

Nothing showed up when I did that.

If the alias hasn't updated, see the number series in quotations, that's the SteamID3.

go to the store page of the game you played with and check mutual friends who played that game and maybe you'll find it quickly and less randomly.

Wow, didn't expect this thread to be still active. Anyways here's an update:
My friend unblocked me about a year ago. We made up and are now buddies again. Thanks for all the feedback guys!
