Playing Steam Games on Microsoft Surface Pro 4

Can you play games on a Surface Pro 4? I've downloaded some games on my Surface and whenever I try to launch them (they're small games; most are DRM-free) it just says "Preparing to launch..." and never actually launches the game. Any tips?

Surface Pro 4 m3 version is bad for games, the others will load games for sure.

Refresh your steam files then try again.
