How to find recorded steam videos?
Hi, I recorded a video in steam while playing gmod by going into console and typing "Record (movie name)" Then typing "stop" in console when I wanted to stop recording.

I now exited steam and gmod and I checked my folders and I can't find the videos. I googled for help for this but nothing seemed to help nor be the same issue as I'm having.

Can anyone help me with this?:demoticon:

You recorded demo file. You can play it with "play demonamehere" and interact with "demoui" command. Those are console commands in-game.

This belongs to Garry's Mod discussions btw.

Anyway I can save demo videos in gmod?

Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod demo files are in here. as filename.dem format. They are saved into your computer
