What program are you using and what settings?
I really dont get how an i7-4790k isnt good enough to stream the lowest quality stream
I somehow missed that you are using OBS.
OBS is not a beginner program. It is rather complicated, especially if you do not know what the settings do.
It can indeed be the settings. What are they?
Also, did you update to version 0.15.2? The latest Windows 10 update caused some conflicts with DX9 games. 0.15.2 fixes the issue.
Ah, you're using classic. I recommend using studio instead, since all development is focused on it now.
To me, it just sounds like the DX9 slow down issue, which doesn't appear to be addressed at all with the classic version.
Try Studio out and update the thread with your results. Hope it helps
While Shadowplay is easier to use... I wouldn't recommend it. Why? It is extremely limited, especially with things like multiple audio sources, and it is part of GeForce Experience (yuck!).
I'm pretty positive that the issue he is experiencing is related to the DX9 slow down bug.

It was 20 days ago, according to the change log.
And for Win10 (or any fresh WinOS) go and grab "DirectX Redist June 2010" package and install that.
