Error Code 2

I recieved this error after updating steam at first I was able to play the game I could get onto menu screen where I purchased DLC then when I started to play it (I restarted the game after downloading) and clicked next turn I got EC2. I then backed out of game and tryed to start it and it would show it trying to install get to 1% and EC2. I have uninstalled Steam and deleted all files then reinstalled and downloaded TWR2 to no avail. I have yet to find any solution to this issue I have found many with same the problem dating back 3 yrs as well as just a few months ago. Any help is appreciated.

i have the same problem ever since i updated the steam just like a 1 hour ago this has happen to me so it could be a bug with the recent update i already send a problem ticket to the support team so i will check back sometime during the day and see if they reply back to my ticket order

Same issue here with MW2 after I installed it today. I'm guessing this is an issue that'll be fixed relatively quickly with a steam update.
