Finally, see the Recurring Subscriptions support article.
"STEAMGAMES.COM 07-07 425-952-2985 WA 0729 BB&T CHECK CARD RECURRING PYMT"
I did check my history. There is nothing in there that says I bought something. However for 7/28 it says "Steam" under my licenses with "complimentary" not sure what that means.
Well, I just want to make sure that I don't have a "recurring payment" on my account. I think it would be under account details, but there is nothing there about subscriptions.
I understand the temptation to do a chargeback, but I would try talking to Steam first.
The best thing you can do is write a concise ticket with all the relevant information. In this case that would be the nature of the problem (you were charged for a purchase you did not make.) I would provide a screenshot of the charge on your bank account, the last 4 digits of your card number (not the whole thing), and the date of the charge in question.
It may take a while for Steam to respond, or it could be in a few days. It's difficult to predict.
How do you know the charge is associated with your account? Does anyone else have access to your computer and could have made the purchase?
