Steam doesn't load pages, stuck loading icon

I've just updated windows 10 to 14393.5 and now steam doesn't load any page: shop, profile, inventory, friends... Every time I try to get any of these pages appears a stuck load icon on the upper right side.

I can access my library and play.

Steam > Settings > Web-Browser.

Clear the cache and retry.

Also, lots of threads about this, bumping one up from a month ago is usually not the answer.

Same problem in windows 10. I think i've got this after windows 10 update.

Steam works fine only in big picture mode. It's not normal.

Then try the manual way.

Exit Steam, hold down [Windows] and [R] -keys

%localappdata%

Press [Enter]

Open up the Steam -folder within, and remove the htmlcache -folder

Hold down [Windows] and [R] -keys again

steam://flushconfig

Press [Enter]

See if the problem persists.

Works fine for me on the latest version of Windows 10 Anniversary Edition on both.

Okay. I did EVERYTHING what people writes on internet. I deleted cache, this folders. I reinstaled steam and nothing works. Your post is only ctrl+c, ctrl+v

I gave You I think the most important thing. This happened probably after WINDOWS 10 UPDATE. I dont have even those programs what are described in those links

Yeah, and I said I'm running the latest version without a hitch, which would strongly suggest the issue isn't that black and white.

You know you can uninstall Windows Updates, don't you?

Ok, by the way. How steam cant load pages in "normal" mode but can load them in big picture. It doesnt have any sense.

Actually, on another thought.

Try opting into the Steam Client Beta, and disable DirectWrite and see if that does anything. Given you've not tried those yet.
