This is true! I know most people that play these kind of games have uncapped internet, but what about people like me who still rely on broadband. Just last night I updated the game, more accurately, exactly less than 24hrs ago, I downloaded about 60MBs worth of update, and just now I thought of playing with my friend who has uncapped, but I can't, because now its wants a 190MB update. I know valve could do without me, but that doesn't make customers like me happier... And I think if they want more customer satisfaction, they should reduce their update sizes! I mean I feel like I've downloaded updates bigger than the size of the whole game itself since february! Maybe if they update weekly they'll find that some of their daily updates are redundant!? Its really a big thing for me... Want to play so bad right now, but I cant! :steamfacepalm: :steamsad: :steamhappy:

Thats their problem for playing multipalyer games with crappy internet in 2017 .

Also get real: every update cost them money and paying for developing them. Its way cheaper for them to release less updates yet bigger than releasing multiple 50 MB updates.

Sorry but that is what I was trying to say, just this afternoon, around 10hrs ago, I downloadad a 220MB update, and now there's a 93MB update up... I'm saying they need to reduce the time between their updates! And yes, I don't have uncapped internet, I don't remember having uncapped internet being a requirement for the game. Get real, the game is really good, but why always updating? Why always big updates? And its not my fault for not updating frequently...

True, we don't need bug fixes and rebalance in our game.

We don't need sarcasm, though it was funny :P And with all due respect sire, if you're not going to make the problem any better, I would appreciate it if you let more understanding people with more relevant things to say to comment. :)

Update because of the ti7..
oh come on, a 10gb data plan almost depleted in less than 2 weeks! it's 1gb/day for update + mmr. i think valve should give the gamer options whether to update or not to. i.e the latest update ''Fixed a bug with in-game predictions that would sometimes cause a prediction to not be recorded properly if submitted near the end of the allowed window''. i dont need this prediction, i just want to play dota.

there are a lot of limited internet quota users out there...
