its not a free money hack its exchanging the currency in my wallet to a different one like it says if i make a purchase with a different currency it will change my current steam wallet to the currency used to make a purchase

Do you live in the Euro zone? Note, your store has to be set to the country in which you are resident. Trying to circumvent the region restrictions could get your account in serious trouble.

ive moved to a euro zone however i still have left over currency in my wallet from before i moved

If you switch store country then all money you still have in your Steam wallet will be exchanged for the new store region currency at the current exchange rate.

it says that I need to make a purchase with my local currency to exchange it however i wanna know if it can still exchange it to my local currency if I directly deposit money in steam

Always lead with the important details.

Once you add a new valid payment method, from the country you're now resident in, wallet funds will convert. <- this is the important part.

Note, don't do this if you plan on returning to your original country soon, you can only change currencies every 90 days.
