Linking EA Account to my Steam Account?

I have The Sims 4 through my EA account, and all of my DLC purchases were done through Origin or the EA Store.

If I am gifted a Sims 4 pack from the Steam Store, can I play Sims 4 with all my current packs (from the EA store) and a gifted Sims 4 pack (from the Steam store) through the Steam launcher?

You can't be gifted Sims 4 DLC on Steam without owning the base Sims 4 here.

Also before you ask, linking your EA account to Steam does not give you those games you have on Origin here.

Except in The Sims 4 specifically, where your Origin DLC will work in your Steam game.

While the DLC will work what I was referring to was that linking won't add the games to your Steam library.

I don't think you're getting what I'm saying. Linking EA to Steam will not transfer the games you have on Origin to Steam.

Has nothing to do with just adding or buying The Sims or any other game.



Though I did forget Sims 4 went f2p.

Sims 4 free on Steam, why not download it via Steam, link your origin account that also has your sim 4 game on it with DLC.

And if you have access to those DLCs via Steam, then that answer your question.
