Download COD 2022

I am trying to download COD II 2022, I already have COD 2 2009 in my library. Steam is not giving me the option to download 2022 because it says COD 2 is already in my library. How do I download COD II 2022?

Best try asking in either game's forum. In any case, this isn't the first time naming two games the same has caused problems. Prey comes to mind.

It's in your library because Activision is dumb enough to couple Warzone 2 with MWII.

If you want MWII, you have to purchase it.

And the other issue since they coupled the games together is if you have Warzone 2, you will get a message trying to purchase MWII that you own it and will not get an extra copy of the game. You simply ignore the message

It's causing many people grief because of all this.

I'm sorry, then what are the steps I must take to download Modern Warfare 2 II 2022. Yes, I want to pay for it. I am not seeing an option to pay for it like I would normally pay for any game. Thanks.
