Need Help to undervolt my laptop's CPU with Intel XTU !
So I decided to undervolt my i7-6700hq CPU because while gaming I'm reaching temperatures like 80-85 Celsius but the thing is that I don't know how to undervolt this CPU model , it differs from CPU to another , so please help me

2. I'd improve the cooling before taking such drastic measures.

Unless the motherboard bios on your laptop supports it, you can't.

Those temperatures are perfectly normal. What's the problem?
Cathulhu 29 Thg08, 2016 @ 2:23am
80-85°C for a CPU is not normal, not even in a laptop. That's where CPUs start thermal throttling.

Like I said, that's normal. Many laptops nowadays are sold with cooling systems not suited for the CPU's maximum thermal budget. This is sad but that is still normal.

I'd get a cooling pad and look into removing dust from the inside of the case.

Well, what thing? Reduce the performance? Sure!
What do exactly do you want? Temperatures are not high scores, if you want to lower them for the sake of it, don't do it. If you want more performance, cool your laptop. Remove dust, if its old, disassmble it and put new thermal paste in.

ive benchmarked my laptop with Unigine Heaven and got : GPU - 100% load - 83 Celsius
CPU - 20% LOAD - 70 Celsius
