Command and conquer first decade problems

I have C & C first decade and it plays the original game but wont't play C & C generals, Zero hour and won't play red alert 2 and red alert 2 Yuri's revenge. I am using windows 10 and having serious failure messages while trying to load a game. I am really confused to as how the first game works but all the others don't.

The games that don't work now are working on my older PC (which has a quad core and the one I am currently using has a duel core) and I have heard that new computers have this new graphics card which is causing the problem. I am not sure whether this is true and I am not giving up yet please help.

What does it say when the error pops up for each of the games? Try running as an administrator and set you compatibility mode to Windows XP SP3 or Windows 98. Also make sure you have the 1.03 rev4 Patch installed. If this doesn't work you may have to reinstall.

I have already installed the patch and run in all compatibility modes. I have even reinstalled. The error message when in compatibility mode is please insert correct disk to play. The error message when it is not in compatibility mode is "You have encountered a serious error. Serious errors can be caused by many things including viruses, overheated hardware and hardware that does not meet minimum specifications for the game.
