Windows 10 Not Detecting Xbox One Controller.
It used to work fine with the same cable I always use. I've tried countless ways to fix it and nothing has worked. Xbox One Controller doesn't show up in the device manager. I've tested each USB port and they all work fine.

EDIT: Just tested another controller and it works fine. I still would like to get my other one working though.

Make hidden devices visible and remove the driver. Then windows will detect it again.

ok it came up with Xbox 360 peripherals which opens up to xbox 360 controller for windows. updating the driver just says i have the mose recent one and scanning for hardware changes does nothing.

If the old xbox peripheral is still in devices remove it then plug your controller back in.
