Can't proceed in youtuber's life?

I've got 105xxx subs and 1.82 million views, I'm not gaining experience and yet I still am in my mothers apartment??? Not sure why the convention hasn't been triggered yet, please help

you can't gain more than 8(?) lvl in your mothers home, each new home raises the exp bar.

click on the door and move to the next home. i think the max lvl in the 2nd home is 16 and so on.

I couldn't get the event that allows you to move to the next house to start so I ended up starting a new game and it worked like a charm

If you closed before it happens it makes it so you don't go to the convention and won't let you go to any others, or even buy tickets.
