Appadata/Local/CEF Folder Adware?
I ran Adwcleaner today, and it detected the CEF folder as adware.
I tried to do some research about the folder and can only find one topic about it on Malwarebytes. One of the member stated it is created by Steam, hence I want to confirm with you the steam community whether if the CEF folder is really created by Steam. I notice it was last modified on July 16, 2015, which was about the time I had to re-install Steam to resolve a launching issue.

CEF stands for Chromium Embedded Framework so yeah, it's a Steam folder. You're probably getting a false positive but it wouldn't hurt to upload it to VirusTotal just to make sure.

I ran Junkware and Malwarebytes both to make sure and they didn't detect anything so I am sure Adwcleaner is getting a false positive. I even delete the CEF folder to make sure and when I started Steam another CEF was created at the same time, thus confirming it is created only by Steam.
Thanks for replying.
