Visa putting a block on Steam transactions?

So what in the actual ♥♥♥♥ is going on with this? Did the servers get compromised again? Or is some whingy CS:GO player trying to call fraud on him buying 30 keys and not getting a single knife?

sounds like you need to contact your bank/visa not steam , that's where the block is

No, I did, thats why I'm asking what is up. They told me it was Steam specifically that was marked for suspicious charges.

As there are no other posts about it, it sounds like it's a local issue rather than a VISA issue. They may have meant your purchases have been flagged as suspicious rather than 'steam' as a whole.

If VISA were to outright block Steam and Valve, there would be millions of angry users across the globe. That's not happening as there are no other posts anywhere about it.

Your bank is populated by incompetent fools if they're telling you VISA did it.

it's your bank you need to talk to they have the records and what is flagged suspisious .

Inform your bank that you did indeed make those charges.

That they are not *suspicious* and should not be flagged as such.

BUT MUH EDF! Also this thread can safely be locked, I actually resolved all the bank problems before I even made this thread. I was just seeing if anyone had any info on why.
