Steam won't stay open? I could use some help here. [EDIT] I found other problems.

When I try to start steam as usual, this steam update window opens up for a moment, it starts logging me in, and once it opens on my game library, It closes. As in, I have to open steam again. I can't play any of my games and it's starting to get on my nerves. any suggestions on what I should do? I've tried restarting my computer, but I have no clue what to do beyond that.

Alright. I think I found out the problem. I've been able to get a short look at the updating games, and It looks like whenever a game called "Unturned" tries to update, Steam crashes and quits. I've never had, seen, or heard about a problem like this occurring before. Any ideas why it happens? for now, I'm going to uninstall it to keep it from crashing steam again.

Yes and no. Other games needed updated and downoaded just fine, but I saw that there were some games that "completed" an update download with 0 bytes/0 bytes downloaded. one of the biggest was Starbound, and when I start it up, it only opens the last early access version, so it wasn't just some text screw-up in the downloads menu.

In the top left click 'Steam' and then 'Check for steam client updates...' If that doesn't work try reinstalling steam completely.
