You can view Uplay CD-keys by clicking the [CD Key] -button on the right under links when viewing the game on your Steam -library. If it's downloading or installed, you can also view it by right mouse clicking the game -> [View CD Key]

P.S. Selling Steam Gifts is against the EULA. So if you've bought a gift via third party websites, they've likely been unauthorized resellers too.

Then you don't have the game installed (or in the middle of being installed.)

Check the [CD Key] on the right under links.

If you see a window in Uplay that asks you for a cd-key then your uplay is out of date. Don't know why it hasn't auto updated but it should and does for the majority of users out there.

Find a way to update it and make sure there isn't a UbisoftGameLauncher.exe running before you do.

There are no cd-keys for siege now after the new uplay update.

Since updating the Uplay -client gets over that activation window, I'd presume the CD-key is no longer used and thus the lack of visible key would suggest it'll be hard to use as proof at Uplay.
