Can't connect ps3 controller to game

Hi, i want to connect my ps3 controller to castle crashers. Its a ps3 controller that uses batteries and has a usb stick which you connect to your ps3 to use it wirelessly. I have played a few games with this controller and it works for them, but with castle crashers, this controller doesnt seem to work as it requires the xbox controller drivers. I downloaded xbox360ce to connect this controller as an xbox controller, and it was recongnised by xbox360ce. However when i try to play castle crashers, it still doesnt work. I have tried this for the official dualshock 3 controller with a usb wire and it works but not the other usb stick one. Anyhelp? Feel free to ask any questions if i havnt explained things clearly.

xbox360ce doesn't work very well anymore.

Uninstall it and try the SCP Toolkit[github.com].

PS: You may need a mini-USB cable for installation.

Motionjoy is dead. And hard to find a compatible blutooth dongle. SCP is still being updated and easier to install.

Although if you get BetterDS3 to work the game profile support works there. It's still beta in SCP.

Well, xbox360ce recognises both my dualshock 3 and the ps3 controller that uses usb stick. However only the dualshock 3 controller works in castle crashers.

I already have scp and i used it to recognise my dualshock 3 controller , but i dont care about that, im concerened on the other one. It's basically not the official controller that uses batteries and has a usb stick you connect to a usb port which allows you to play wirelessly. It works on my ps3, and it even worked for another game which supports playstation but not castle crashers. The dualshock 3 controller is recognised as an xbox 360 one, but my other one has remained as 'PS3/USB CORDED'

I use Better DS3 for my controller whenever I connect them to my computer to play controller supported games .

Ok ill try that out and see if it works for the other controller. By the way everything listed works for the dualshock 3 controller even motionjoy scp xbox360ce and better ds3

Ok, only the dualshock 3 is recognised, the other isnt.
