Steam Store Hangs on Purchase
For the past three days, I've been trying to make a purchase, with the Steam store, using a new pre-paid MasterCard that I'm certain has sufficient funds on it, and my zip code correctly registered. When I click the the green "purchase" button, though, it changes to read "working" before locking up completely. The store just hangs. I can't even scroll the window up or down. Any ideas about what's going on?

same thing is happening to me. I usually spend way too much this time of year.

Update: I just tried using the iPad Steam App to purchase my cart, and had the exact same problem. I really don't want to miss the sale.

I deleted few games and i was able to purchase. I had like 28 games and got them down to like 25 i think. and it let me do it. its so stupid.

I figured it out: I had a bundle in my cart, whch incuded a game I already owned. Somehow, in conjunction with other purchases, this was causing the store to hang. I deleted the bundle, and was able to make my other purchases, no probem. Then, I added the bundle to my now-empty cart, and purchased it seperately.

now that I think about it. You are right sir. I had Trine bundle and I already own Trine3... what a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bug lol

What fixed it for me was taking out the one bundle I had in my cart. Didn't own any of the games but the bundle seemed to cause the problem.

I have the exact same problem for days now! Have tried to purchase through the app on my computer, my phone and the website. All I get is the stuck on working thing. I do not have any games in my cart which I already own. I do have several bundles. I took them out, managed to get past the working screen and now got the error 'You've been attempting a lot of purchases in the past few hours. Try again later.' Argh! Are you kidding me right now, Steam?! It's all there in my wallet already!

If I ever do manage to complete the first purchase without bundles, can I do a second purchase with all the bundles? Or do I have to purchase each of them separately? Please say no! ;) Thanks everyone for all your help and posting your experiences regarding this infuriating problem!
