Help my with thos Steam please

Hello Steam I have request. I bought ARK survival evolved and when I start to downloading it , it downloaded only 1.2 or 1.4 GB from 20GB . So i have request if you could delete a DLC for ARK (The Center) because i think the game thinks is installed and downloaded but it only downloads the DLC . So could you Steam delete this DLC ( not full game ) from my account please

Why can't you untick the DLC from installation under [View Downloadable Content] and then try?

Did you try removing what it had downloaded since and restarted the installation from zero?

I made mistake , because i downloaded the DLC first and then i bought ARK , so i think the only way to install and download the game succefully is deleting the DLC ( The Center) .

How would you download the DLC without owning the basegame?

I asked "how".

You cannot activate or buy DLC for a product you don't own on Steam (yet).

You're still not answering what I'm asking you.

"HOW" did you supposedly download the DLC without owning the basegame? I'd believe it only if you were shared the game and you used the client console, but I don't see any other way to do that (and I really doubt you did that).

I downloaded it for free and it didnt installed. Then i bought the base game . Now the steam (application) thinks its downloading the base game but is downloading the DLC .

You can't download DLC without owning the basegame.

I see.

You're on a 32-bit OS, that's the issue.

The game requires a 64-bit OS to download more than just the redistributable files.

Only way is deleting the DLC from my account and then the base game will install normally .
