— For anyone that is wondering, the GPU is an Intel HD 4400 mobile and the processor is an Intel Core i3-4030U 1.90 Ghz (dual core w/hyperthreading.)

My bad, it is 1.90 and not 1.70 Ghz—

It's not great. Passmark puts the processor somewhere between a Core 2 Duo and a Core 2 Quad, both of which are very old processors. The integrated GPU doesn't help either, the performance will be somewhere between a GT 620 and a GT 630. You can run older games, probably from pre-2012 at reduced settings/resolutions.

It's a Dualcore CPU. But that's not that much of a problem as the old XCom only uses one core.
The main problem is the low performance, it has a TDP of just 15 Watt, which is rather poor.

Why apologize? You did the right thing asking here. It's better to ask before you buy a game where you aren't even sure if it will run properly.
