What happens if I buy a game bundle as a gift for myself and I own one of the games?
I bought a game and I liked it so now I want to buy the complete bundle with all the dlc, but as I have one of the items of the bundle I was wondering: If I buy the complete game bundle as a gift and I send it to myself (I've been told you can put the gifts in your inventory and send them to yourself) will I receive all the dlc and an extra copy of the game I already own?
I've been told that if you buy a bundle you can't separate the games inside it, but what happens if I send it to myself (or someone else who also has one of the games of the bundle) will I ( or the other person) receive all the dlc and a copy of the game I own or just the dlc?

The packs can't be broken up in any way whatsoever, if you can gift it, it's still all or nothing.

There's very few games you get extra copies if you already own them, so few it's easier to assume you don't. If you will it will be mentioned before checkout. Most likely you won't.

In fact, they've now made it so devs can set it so you can 'complete your bundle'. Which means you can buy the bundle and you'll get a discount if you already own stuff in it. It's new and opt-in though and many devs haven't enabled it yet.

If you own the game you will not get a copy of it. Bundle are far cheaper to buy and it would cause loss in money if people could just trade the games that they already had.

I see. It's rather unfair though, if I pay the complete prize of the bundle I should receive everything it has, even if I already have it u.u
