How do I disable Email notifications for the market?
I know how to adjust my general email notifications, but they only seemed to cover wishlist, greenlight, game releases, etc. They do not seem to have options for when my items sell.

I tend to sell most of my trading cards, and I get mega email spam about all those 5 cent cards I sold. I really don't want to deal with this anymore, is there a way to disable these notifications (without disabling wishlist notifications)?

Still wondering, does anyone know how to fix this? At worst, does anyone know for sure if it's not possible to fix this?

Set up an Email rule which automatically filters mail with the same title to a junk folder or delete them.

So there's no way to do it through steam? Ah well. If this is the only solution, it's what I'll have to do.

Bumping, because this is a problem for a lot of people.

There's no reason to bump it, because there's no opt-out button anymore. There hasn't been for well over a year.

You confirm whenever items leave your inventory, whether it be in trades or on the Community Market.

If you don't have Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator (for longer than 7 days), then the confirmation will be accompanied with a hold period.

I've just learned to live with it. There is no real solution. It's probably a good thing even if it spams my email with junk 99.9% of the time. Setting up an email filter is the only way, and while I haven't done it yet, I still might do it if it ever bothers me enough. Having all of my Steam emails in one folder wouldn't hurt anyways. :zombiehead:

Sorry but this is just silly, I'm literally spamming myself by putting stuff on the market.
Why is there no more opt-out option for these? Valve also reset all the other marketing settings, enabling every single marketing mail, even tho I opted out of most of these, that's actually pretty scummy behavior.

The least Valve could do is give us some options, for the market-related receipts/mails. Like a daily/weekly/monthly mail, with an overview for all trade-transactions for that period, instead of generating an individual mail for every single market transaction.

Again: This is just silly and there's no reason to handle it in this super awkward and uncomfortable way. I already have to deal with enough mail filters to get rid of regular spam, I don't need Steam to contribute to that crap.

Sadly it seems you then have to Opt out of everything. Including an item on your wishlist going on sale. Which is a feature I do like.

hello.

i'm not sure which option should i disable in order to stop receiving those market transaction mails.

Is it the Game-specific event notifications one?

Do i have to opt out of all email marketing communication?

Thanks
