Runtime dll missing
Just bought my first ever game via Steam, everytime I try to run it I get a message saying. api-ms-win-crt-runtime-1-1-0 dll. missing then it tells me to try and re-install the game, which is DTG Flight School. so can I somehow deleat the game and re-download it otherwise I have wasted my money..

Once you buy/activate a key on Steam (assuming it's genuine), that key is linked to your account and can be freely downloaded/installed as many times as you like as long as it's linked to your account. You can even log into Steam on other machines and install your games on there (of course you need to be logged into your account on the other machine to play the games). I would try verifying your files before you re-download the entire thing, right click on the game in your list, click "properties", then click on the "local files" tab. Finally, click the "Verify Integrity of game cache" button, and Steam will check your files against the servers, and if anything is missing/corrupted, Steam will re-download the file(s) needed.

I suggest firstly, try to verify the integrity of the game cache like suggested above. This can be done by right clicking it in your steam library and then going down to properties and moving to the 'Local Files' tab then click verify integrity of game cache.

Second of all try the second comment below and download the new version of Visual C++ as it very well could be an out of date OS or some other kind of software.

Finally if all else fails i suggest before deleting and reinstalling any game when you have a problem, is to always google the error or error code, so in this instance google 'api-ms-win-crt-runtime-1-1-0 dll. missing'. It may just tell you exactly what the problem is and lead to a quick solution or help you out however it can.

If after all of these solutions fail i suggest saying so in the thread.
