Can I have some games saved to SSD and some saved to HDD without having to install steam on both of them?
Like the title says, I want a few of my more demanding games saved to my SSD because they lag otherwise, but I don't want ALL of my games on the SSD because it'll run out of space. Is there a way I can change some steam settings so it looks in two different files to find games I have installed? Thank you.

Yes.

Steam > Settings > Downloads > Steam Library Folders.

Yes, Steam now supports multiple game installation locations.
In client click Steam->Settings->Downloads->Steam Library Folder->Add Library Folder

When you goto install a game it'll ask where you want to install it, choose the drive and install.
