This is what is has been telling me for over two hours. Now im getting pissed. today is my only day i get to play before i have to work the next two weeks with out a day off. I purchased a game and it is in my libary but i cant install it i cant play it. WTH! what do i have to do to get it to go through so i can play!

No it is still pending.....

did you add new payment methord (credit card, bank, paypal). If so, this can be reason.

If not, another way I can think is issue is that your payment source is having issues sending the money (ie... their electronic transfer system is delayed due to mass transactions from others, or down due to bugs).

Only other thing I can think of is that Steam didn't have any more keys (though unlikely). Since there are so many people buying, this can cause issues, but again, unlikely

Called my CC company.... They didnt even geta requst from Steam yet......

How can they give your money back if your CC company has not even received the request. This means you have not paid yet.

I do agree that steam should inform you what is happening, but do remember they are getting most likely 100 emails every few minutes due to this season sale. Most companies do ask for 24-48 hours wait period before people get a reply. Hopefully they let you know soon what is happening, or your game becomes available ASAP.

Did you try seeing if they have resend confirmation? I find 75% times that when I do that, it sends (since first time didn't). Did you check your spam too? (Most likely you did, but thought to ask)

Ive Resent a couple of times, Still nothing, And yes i checked my spam folder.

I just ran into this issue and google brought me here. I actually found my answer on Reddit.

My issue was when I confirmed my purchase through the Steam client it stuck when I clicked confirm. After 15 minutes of it "working" the transaction I closed the client. My game was in my library but no email and couldn't install.

What worked for me was I went into my Steam purchase history, clicked the game that is stuck and there is text for "cancel transaction". The instant I clicked cancel transaction Steam said the transaction cancelled BUT I was also immediately prompted with the installation window which happens whenever a game is added to the library. For some reason cancelling the transaction made the transaction go through... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I have the exact same problem, but when i canceled the transaction the game disepeared from my library, and i havent got my money back. I used a card.
