Is it possible to download a previous version of a game?
Hi all, I have a question.
I have all my games set to auto-update, but one of the recent updates for a game ended up breaking it for me. I've been waiting 2 months for the developers to issue a fix; obviously I would be happy enough if I could just download the previous version of the game that worked OK.

So, can I download a "fresh" version of a game without the updates, or maybe select which version to download? Thanks in advance.

No, unless you made a backup of it.

Only if the game in question supports it. If ti does it would be under the beta tab for that game.

Thanks... If they ever get to fix it I'll make a backup for sure!

If it's an online only game then it won't be possible.

Nope, a reinstall will only pull the latest version I.e the updated version.

or maybe select which version to download? Thanks in advance.
Publishers generally only keep one version of the game up, easier book keeping but you can ask the publishers/developers. Given that the latest oatch breaks the game on your system, if it would be possible to have the option to downgrade.

Granted if you're talking about a multiplayer online game. That's not going to happen.
