Recording on screen audio using SoundFlower

Lately ive been working on a huge garrys mod machinima, and I need it to have some sound from in game. The screen recorder im using (QuickTime Player) doesnt record sound.
It only records footage. Theres apparently a recorder called Soundflower that helps record audio.

Well. Two things happened.
1.Soundflower didnt work right. Didnt record sound.
2. It made my headphones stop working, I cant hear anything when I plug them in.

What do I do to get the sound to work on my headphones, and soundflower working?
