Playing Steam games from Ghana, Africa (offline and online)‏?

Hey all,

This may seem like an odd question, but I'll be moving from my home in the highly developed Toronto, ON to a new home in Accra, Ghana this summer.

I was curious if there are any other gamers from Ghana, and what their experience with offline and online gaming from Ghana has been like.

I suspect I may have some issues with online/multiplayer games, but am hopeful that I won't have issues connecting to Steam and playing offline games while in Ghana.

I'm particularly curious as I'm sure there's another sale coming up soon and I hope to feel confident in my purchases - that I will actually be able to play them once I move to Ghana.

Can anyone provide any insights into this? Thanks guys.

It's been 9 years but how have you found gaming and the internet services in Ghana? I'm in Texas but may move to Ghana. I work in I.T. and work remotely so I'm really curious about the quality of their services. I also game on Steam a lot 😎
