Disabling big picture mode?
This is really frusterating. When I start certain full screen games, Steam automatically enters big picture mode. I hate big picture mode, especially how difficult it is to navigate. The simple list of games in library mode that is normal for steam is much eaiser to navigate.

How do I disable steam ever entering Big Picture Mode in the settings, so that I don't have to keep exiting out of it?

I use windows 10.

In your Steam client's settings, under the in-game tab, you can uncheck a feature that makes your overlay automatically use Big Picture if you have a controller plugged in. Under interface, you can tell steam to not start with BP. I do not believe you can make any further changes.

How do you exit Big Picture mode? Once I'm in it I can't exit, I have to restart my PC to go back to normal screen...
Click the power button, but instead of telling your computer to shut off you can either exit Big Picture or Steam entirely.

I haven't used Windows 10, but I just denied all permissions of the panorama.dll. Just denying execution might suffice, but you know... kill it with fire!!
