Question regarding 'Link Removed' of a google docs thing
I sent an offline friend my google docs project so he can look over it and comment on what I should check again or change.

When he got home, he couldn't see the link because docs dot google dot come are for some reason "removed"

Did people use google docs to scam? Or why were they removed?

Yes, they did. To such an extent that Valve was forced to put Google Docs links on a blacklist.

yup its blocked because of scammers/malware attacks.
break the link up a little so it doesnt get redacted.
your friend wont be able to click it but they can copy paste it and remove any extra leters or whatever you used to make it show.

I have been noticing this a lot too. We use google docs a lot in our community. We been using www.iny.me to shorten the URL of a google doc and send the iny.me url over steam. Works like a charm.

Other URL shorteners seem to still get blocked over steam with google docs were iny.me don't.
