Yepp, im an idiot, but plix help with mobilehone and authenticator app!

So me and my brother got a PC each at the same IP, and we got one SMS capaple phone and one kinda oldish android tablet.
How do we get the Steam gibberish authentication stuff to work?

We added the phone to each of our account already, and that worked fine. But when we installed the Steam app on the android device ( a small tablet ) it seems to be stuck on my brother account and will not log me into Steam.

Is it even possible to share one tablet as an authenticator, or are we fudged already at this point?


I know PC stuff decently, but total noob on phones and tablets.

You cannot share authenticator, they're for individual use only.

Today, with less "adult juice" in the system it worked just fine to add a second account to the tablet.
I had an misshap yesterday and kinds sortof accidently changed my password so i still got a 7 days tradestop on the market, but it will be gone a few days into the (roumoured) upcomming steam sales ( wich is why i did the whole thing, to trade cards and whatnot quickly and easily with my brother sitting half a meter besides me).

I must say that it feels alot less secure, having to turn on the wifi and using a device that i feel i don´t have full control over. Just for the stupid badges, and as i said mainly trades with my bro thats physically within an arms lenght :)
