steamservice.exe
Hey guys! My anti-virus programme detects steamservice.exe located in Steam/package/tmp/ as a file infected with some kind of trojan virus. What should I do? My antivirus software is called Bitfender

It appears your anti-virus program is correct as in a normal Steam installation there is no such file as Steamservice.exe.

Do you maybe know how to fix the problem?

What is the location of the file according to Bit Defender?
I manually installed Steam to the E disc. I had the Steam folder located on C:/program files etc. and i tried to solve the issue by reinstalling Steam to the E disc.
Location of the file according to Bit Defender is E or C depends on where I install it and then Steam/package/tmp (as seen above).

Tell BitDefender to shut up and ignore.

No, he shouldn't as there is no such file or path in an uncompromised Steam installation.

That Steamservice.exe is a fake and BitDefender was correct in raising an alarm.

Are you sure? Because it looks to me like a temporary folder used to update the current Steam installation.

Can you upload your file to https://www.virustotal.com/ and link the results here?

when steam self-update, it extract all from /steam/package/ to /steam/package/tmp/ and then move to appropriate folders
@Cathulhu, are you use new PC with fast SSD?
