What's your Steam download speed?

Hey guys,

Curious to know your download speed when it comes to downloading games on Steam.

Mine's supposed to be 5.5Mbps but I only get 700Kbps :(

Go to speed test and post the results. I'm guessing your connection is actually a 5.5Mb connection and it's downloading just fine at around 700Kbps.

Mbs MB etc. 8 to 1.

Steam client -> settings -> download -> Display download rates in bits per second, and it should say roughly 5.5Mbps.

mine is around 500 - 700 Kbps

Mine goes from 2-8mbs with 3-4 being the most consistent.
