Steam downloads slow?

Im trying to download a new update to a game but steam is downloading really slow even though i have 90/90

Check your download settings:
1. Click on Steam on the top-left
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Downloads

Check to make sure the Download Region is set to the place near you.
Make sure 'Limit Bandwidth to' is set to 'No Limit'

already tried that, it only effects my pc in the house

I have always around 0,9mb's - 1,3mb's :/

Check if your isp is not throttling you and make sure you know the difference between Mbps and MBps.

i am having the same problem. i normally download from steam at 2.2mbps. atm i am getting between 54kbps and 1.4mbps. all my mates are having the same problem. something must be going on, on steams end.
