Does steam have a comparable WoW/Online RPG Game?

So im a huge fan of online RPG's and games where you lvl up and become better but i hardly can find anything as good as what the gaming community has to offer on steam. Not looking forward to path of excile while i could play WoW or Vindictus or anything else. Is there something i missed? I don't like playing games that aren't on Steam for obv reasons but it seems like steam doesn't really has anything of this.

elder scrolls online and the final fantasy mmorpg are the biggest i think you'll find on steam

Probably Final Fantasy XIV, it's the best MMO on Steam imo, it's got a solid RPG-styled combat, plenty of levelling involved, dungeon raids, as well as a surprisingly good main story for an MMO.

There's also Elder Scrolls Online which I've heard is a decent MMO, but I haven't got around to playing it yet, so I don't know for sure.

Thanks, would it also be worth playing if unfamiliar with the ff series? All the other games are either dead or p2w wich Is a huge shame.

Online, MMO and you want play single? Why not grab one of the fantastic single player games?

Edit: In my mind comes currently only Elite: Dangerous, but this is special game. I recommend to do first some research about it.

I do the fantastic single player games too. However, I noticed the online games have a lot of content on them, more to explore, so it might be more fun. I always avoided them in the past because I don't like grinding, and I need to be able to walk away from my computer at a moments notice, so the pause function on a game is important to me.

The Elder Scrolls Online you can play alone in PvE. There are group dungeons, but you don't have to play them. If you're a high enough level, you could take on one of the dungeons by yourself. It is very difficult to beat a group dungeon alone, though, but it's possible, given that you're 10+ or more the recommended level to enter.

Kingdom of amalur was supposed to be a mmo but it was finally a singleplayer action rpg. Very hidden gem. Maybe for you.
