I'd prefer the stats, playtime and achievements to remain. At best, I'd think it would be okay for the achievement showcase to exclude deleted games (while that can falsificate the percentages and whatnot.)
Removing games is ultimately "Hide the Game - Tier 2" than removing it permanently from your account anyway.

That's available even if you didn't own the DLC in the first place.
I'd suggest using a third party web-browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, et cetera), unless you want to go to [Steam > Settings > Interface] and then tick
Then use [Win + R] -keys: steam://open/console and apply the manually altered URL as the client console command.
