Steam install folder different from Add / Remove Programs
So a while ago I moved Civ VI and Warhammer from the SSD C: drive to the D: drive. When i look in the respective folders this is the case and everything has moved.

However, when I look in the Add / Remove Programs app it still says both games are on the SSD C: drive, and when I look at the capacity of the SSD drive, it looks like it is still counting the size of both games on the SSD C: drive....

I've done the same with my Origin games, and these are being correctly reflected in the Add / Remove Programs app as being on the D: drive.

I'm perplexed. What gives?

When I click into the SSD C:drive and select all do properties it says 112GB. When I right click properties directly over C: drive it says 155GB!

The difference between the two is pretty much what Civ plus Warhammer would be, so although they are on the D:drive, my computer SSD's capacity still seems to think they're part of the SSD C:drive....

Did you delete the game from Steam directory?
Have a look in Steam folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common
Any games installed to Steam are not a separate game and will not appear in add remove programs.
To remove everything uninstall Steam.

Once the games are moved out from Steam you will need to add new library using Steam top left corner settings> downloads on the right Libraries.
The new games folder should be called Steam

I uninstalled Warhammer and nothing changed in the SSD free capacity, so I think it's just a bug with the Add / Remove Programs app.

What it does mean however, is there's about 30 odd GBs being used in my SSD that I cannot account for (I have already ticked for hidden files to be viewable)...

Get Treesize, check the space there.
