Free, fun multiplayer games.

Hello, with my friend we're sick of tryhards in games, where you just can't have fun until you tryhard too, so we wanted to play a game that's free and fun/relaxing and if possible as less tryhards as possible, we just want to enjoy the game and chat together, even some almost forgotten games where we can just play against each other, any suggestions please?
