I can't get a game that i was gifted.

Every time i try to accept the gift it says that i have "insufficient approval". If anyone knows what is going on i would appreciate the help a lot.

You need the base game first.

i know u need a base game for dlc but it shouldnt say "insufficient approval" for needing the base game...it would say that...doesnt steam restrict your activiity and stuff while you are under a certain level? i'm not sure if it applies in this case but i do know some things were limited for me before i got to a certain level

ah i see, its actually also effect steam key, I have a dlc keys i get it from my friend and im still save it until today because i didnt have the base game. and i already forget what game is that so im get over it.. but still have the key until now...

I dont know why valve do this but i didnt really annoy me because i didnt have the game but yeah i guess if you get a dlc from a gift you cant save the key like me so its sound like problem...

Incorrect. Levels mean nothing.

Participation in events is limited to level 8 (or 5, I don't remember the exact number). But that's it, buying, gifting, playing, all this ain't tied to any level.

They removed that and went with "as long as you're not limited" for the Lunar event.
