Remote Play is not working after update
Hey, I can no longer start games via Remote Play. I get the following error:

Something went wrong while displaying this content. Refresh
Error Reference: Library_7668455_5f24d6ddd9f44727
Cannot read property 'TakeFocus' of undefined

Both client and host devices have the latest steam version from 16th of November.
Right before the update I launched "To the moon" from my library via Remote Play.
It seemed ok, though the cursor was missing in the main menu.
I cleared download cache and browser data. I don't know what else could be done.

Maybe it'll be fixed in the next patch, just give it a few days.

Having the same issue, have tried remoting from different devices (Desktop, Mac, laptop). Was working fine yesterday, but not today.

Yes, this has happened to me today as well. I reinstalled steam on both computers to no avail. Getting this error now when I try to stream a game:

Error Reference: Library_7668455_5f24d6ddd9f44727
Cannot read property 'TakeFocus' of undefined

Very frustrating!

Got a similar problem attempting to remote in from an Apple Mac to a Windows 10 PC. Was trying to host an RPG on Table Top Simulator . This was working on Tuesday when we did our pre-session technical test. Seven people now very frustrated and upset that Steam/Valve have once again messed up the remote function.

Its doubly annoying that Steam does not allow users to revert to previous versions of its app. Now I can't remotely play my favorite game from the comfort of my couch.

I'm on a trip and I've been grinding Lost Ark on my cheap ass laptop from my PC at home across the country. Things were chill yesterday and then all of a sudden it stops working today lol

I think I just got around it by entering big picture and then streaming from there

me too

Also following. I'm having the same problem (Windows 10 > MacOS), but I only get the error when streaming from my Mac to my PC; in the other direction, the stream just fails with no message.

Also what the heck Valve, how does an app that people spend hundreds of dollars on not have a better support system?

Hello fellow steamers.
I have created a support ticket, hopefully we'll receive some feedback soon.
It was actually tricky, since there is no option for "Remote Play" in the support menu -_-.
