The Elder Scrolls Anthology problem with missing games
Hi,
I have a problem with TES:Anthology. I bought a game while ago. It was nice with all the maps etc. It also incuded a Steam key on a flyer. After I redeemed the code only Skyrim appeared in my Steam. It was the game I wanted to install back then so I didn't noticed or found it strange. Few days before I found out that along with Skyrim Oblivion and Morrowind should have appeared. I wrote to Steam support but they keep re-sending me an answer that "Retail copies and other digital versions of this game cannot be registered through Steam" . I simultaneously exchange few e-mails with Bethesda support regarding another issue (which was solved) and they told me I supposed to have those 3 games on steam (Morrowind,Oblivion,Skyrim). They even provided a link to they webpage where is stated " the included Steam key will activate Steam versions of Morrowind GOTY and Oblivion GOTY Deluxe".

So is there anything I can do to get those games on Steam (and I don't mean adding shortcuts as I can do with any game) ?

PS. Sorry for my poor English,I hope it's understandable ;)

Are you sure there wasn't more than one Steam Key, perhaps, that you were suppose to enter? One for each game, maybe?

No,I'm sure there is only one code. There are 2 codes in total in a box, both on same flyer, but second one is described as a code to re-seller loyalty program (I tried it anyway just to check and be sure and it doesn't work.).

Hmm. i wonder if the problem is that Steam doesn't sell the anthology version of the games (anymore?) and so perhaps Steam isn't handling the code for the anthology properly then? You could always ask Bethesda or store you bought the anthology from if they will give you additional Steam keys for the two games that didn't unlock for you (after providing them with proof you actually purchased the anthology), that's all i can think of that might help.

It'll probably be more useful to do that, than to contact Steam Support, since Steam Support probably won't be able to verify that you really did buy the anthology version of a game from some other store they have nothing to do with.

Hmmm I think it's the only way. And as Bethesda was very helpful I'll contact them first. It would not even be a problem, as I don't really need Steeam to enjoy these games, but I had troubles installing Morrowind (that is why I contacted Bethesda) and only solution to get it installed was installing it in English (for some reason installation was bugged and crushing when installing in my native language). Bethesda told me then about installing from Steam and that's how i found out that these games should be there :) . I would really like to play them in my language as I don't feel good enough in English (yet ) . Or maybe someone knows how to change the language of already installed Morrowind ?

Anyway I try to ask for a new key. Thank You for quick response and being helpful :)
