Have you visited any sites or downloaded anything from a site that a random user messaged you? Scan your computer for malware, deauthorize all other computers via your Steam settings, and change your password.

Nope none of the above ... I never reaply to anything I don't trust, I'm extremely careful ... But I will look at any computers that are authorized and de-authorize them, already changed my password ... again ... This is probably the third time I've had this issue, I beleive Steam's security is not good. I had to remove all my payment info too ... just sucks they can't keep things secure

You may want take steps to protect yourself rather than complaining about it.

The biggest security hole in any system is between the keyboard and chair...

You probably have a keylogger or similar malware if this is your third password change. Valve has good security measures, but they cannot stop users from getting phished or getting malware. I recommend performing a scan with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware or a similar removal tool and doing a scan with an anti-spyware program.

You have the problem the third time..... Many computers are authorized..... You "prove steam to be unsecure".
The first reason of getting problems is by defining someone else to be at fault.

Your situation is evidence for you that steam was unsafe,
what does the situation of millions of people prove then, who dont have problems?

Find the source of your problem. To fix it.
My system is entirely clean and I log in from only 1 system. I'm running a very secure system. I've done any and all possible groundwork and have my system scanned regularly as well by my IT department so that is notinh else I can do at this point ...
Translated, I'm not a 12 year old kid on a Windows machine with no virus or malware protection .... :-) And if there were a key logger I'm pretty sure it would be my bank account getting hacked not a gaming account ;-)

Yet somehow YOUR account details are in the wild... 3 times now.

Try to scan your PC with multiple antiviruses, check all your addons, and, I recommend to install SPYHUNTER 4 (no idea if it's free, but it should be. If it isn't, you might try to use a crack) which scans for all the malwares in your PC. My father is a PC technic, and he recommended me to use it when my Steam account was hacked. Successful: 3000 malwares were found and it automatically deleted them. I didn't try it, but REGHUNTER should help too.

Thank you for the advice and for not being an insulting prick who automatically assumes that no Steam account ever gets hacked ... I will run a scan with SPYHUNTER ... just to be sure ...

YES and ONLY on steam ... If it were a keylogger I would be having more significant problems with my social networkign sites or my bank account ... but yes, only Steam getting hacked it seems ...

Hello,
No problem! I hope Spyhunter helps! If it doesn't, let me know, maybe I have more solutions that might work... Although hackers can be easily found, they are hard to stop...

I do not see anyone being insulting in this thread but sometimes, the truth can be taken as such...

Then you need to re-read the posts ... anyway doesn't matter .. if steam is a problem I already removed my payment information and if it continues to happen I just stop playing games that require Steam ... Life goes on :-)
