Watch Dogs Is Clara death a glitch!?

so i am at the part where clara gets shot to death but i saw something interesting. in the first scene clara gets shot in the shoulder BUT DOES NOT DIE. Now the interesting part. after the shot in the shoulder i gat the ability to control Aiden for one or two seconds and then instantly clara gets shot to death in a cutscene. So if i can control Aiden for a second i think it might be just a bug wich jumps to claras death. so in conclusion: Probably ubisoft given you the chance to svae clara but a glicth simply jumps to the death scene. So what do you think about this? Please tell me if this is just a glitch or ubisoft just got to kill a key character.
