Call of Duty Definitive Collection (ROW) requires Ghosts?

I was having issues purchasing this pack last night since it required me to own CoD Ghosts to buy so I thought I would be clever and purchase it as a gift then add it in. Now I am having the same problem. Have any of you had this issue and if so did you find a solve for it? I tried Google but there are no relevant answers.

Still has this as Gift in my Inventory. Still won't let me add it to my Library. Still no response for the Ticket. Well, if they don't response, maybe we can do a Class Action. Seeing that $199 times lots of people are quite the money.

Funny that this is my First COD Buy on Steam. Maybe if not for this Mega Pack, I will never even buy COD. :D

But when I see this "ah, what the heck, might as well grab it now". Then this thing happens and ruin it. :(

i wouldnt say that would be nessecary, just the more publicity we can get about it, the quicker it'll hopefully be resolved.

My thoughts exactly, i bought this for 2 reasons
A: I can play all the storys and alittle multiplayer,
B: For my partner so she can play zombies as she likes those maps.

@Ingward You are completely correct! I re-purchased Call of duty: Ghosts "Gold Edition" for $29.99 and it allowed me to add the Franchise pack along with it. For anyone who doesn't believe me. Reply to this and I can show you screenshots of me owning them/and or you can check my profile for the games in my installed list! It 100% works you just have to buy Ghosts again for whatever reason.

When I was downloading Ghosts again it also downloaded and extra 2.8 GB of some thing. I don't know what it was but whatever it was seemed to allow the Franchise pack to install.

Also I had the franchise pack bought and stored in my inventory as a gift! If it won't let you buy the franchise pack - PURCHASE IT AS A GIFT!!! This will force it into your inventory and after you buy ghosts click "Add to my game library" And it will allow it. YOU HAVE TO PURCHASE GHOSTS TWICE TO DO THIS! don't ask me why all I know is this is what I did and it worked!

I have bit the proverbial bullet and bought ghosts. I still dont see why we have to fork out more F**kn money for a pack which contains it but I'll be keeping my reciepts and tickets and asking for a refund on ghosts when they do finally respond

Well, this is kinda funny, and sucks too. I'm definitely not paying more for double Ghost.
I believe it's much more of a hassle to claim for a Refund later. So I will just wait then.

So a solution was found and it's to buy COD Ghosts Gold Edition. I don't think this is a solution, and Steam support needs to fix this.

I bought this pack for all the other COD games, and I have no interest in Ghosts. I'm not going to go out and buy a second copy of a game I don't want just to fix an issue with a bundle I paid $200 for. Buying the second copy with no guaranteed refund is a bad decision.

I unfortunately bought the gold edition of Ghosts too just so it could work hoping I could play world at war tonight, but world at war never made it to my account along with some other Ghost DLC. This is b.s I paid for it all, and in the end I had to double pay for a game I thought I was going to get for free along with all of its DLC, when in reality I got skimped because I'm missing a nice 30-40% of the promised DLC for Ghosts and World at War, which is way more important than Ghosts. First off if I'm going to shell out 200 dollars for a bundle which I should enjoy I should get everything it says is included. I'm pretty furious I had to buy 2 copies of Ghost because I wasn't even going to play that much, but along with the lack of having World at War in my game inventory really upset me. I submitted my ticket, and If I don't get a refund I expect them to at least put the gold version of Ghosts in my inventory so I can gift it and reimburse me with the DLC I never recieved along with the game world at war which is no where to be found in my inventory. If Valve is going to do stuff like this I can take my business else where as I have done before, but I do like steam.. I just wish it would work like the rest of this community. Shame on valve for not getting to the bottom of this Friday seeing as tomorrow is a holiday, I have a feeling anyone with a ticket in will be waiting 5-12 days to hear back including my self. I would prefer a refund on the 30 dollar edition of Ghosts, but all we all can do is wait. If the bundle works once the sale is over Valve should have the decency to refund all those who lost out because of this unknown bug, which they could have at least put a slight amount of effort into clearing up before they were going to release a sale like this...
